The Union — 553 E 2nd St, South Boston There's a shift happening in how buildings go up in this city. New materials. New methods. New technology that didn't exist two years ago. The companies behind it are small, they're moving fast, and most of the industry hasn't met them yet. On May 7th, that changes. The Union and the Circular Economy Club of Boston are co-hosting a Developer Roundtable during Climate Week Boston. Multiple startups working at the cutting edge of sustainable construction technology will be in the room, presenting their products to the developers, builders, architects, and investors who will ultimately decide whether these ideas become the standard or stay on the sideline. This is not a panel you sit through. It's a conversation you participate in. The format is a roundtable — direct, informal, and designed to get the right people talking to each other. You should be there if: • You build in Boston and want to know what's coming • You invest in contech or proptech and want early access • You design buildings and care about what goes into them • You're curious about what "build better" actually looks like in practice

We're bringing together the entire ecosystem -- owners, operators, founders, consultants, and VCs -- to deconstruct what makes a pilot thrive and what makes it fail. **What you'll learn:** - How to structure a pilot that has a real path to full deployment - What building owners actually need to see before they say yes - The most common mistakes PropTech founders make (and how to avoid them) - How to align incentives between vendors and operators from day one - What VCs and consultants look for when evaluating PropTech readiness **Who should attend:** - PropTech founders and startup teams looking to land or scale pilots - Building owners and operators evaluating new technology - Real estate developers exploring smart building solutions - VCs and investors in the PropTech space - Consultants advising on technology adoption in real estate **Format:** 4:00 PM — Doors open, networking, food & beverages 4:30 PM — Panel discussion: "From Handshake to Scale" 5:30 PM — Audience Q&A 5:45 PM — Open networking 6:00 PM — Close Come for the insights, stay for the industry's best networking.
